Debut Album

Hi everyone. We're super excited to say we'll begin recording our debut album with our old chum Andrew Bush in Glasgow on the 18th of February. We've been a bit quiet recently getting everything ready and we think it's going to sound great. We want to take lots of pictures and make lots of videos and keep everyone posted so we've started a tumblr blog to use while we're recording. You can keep in touch with how we get on on this link.

Two Dutch Masters

Here's a special Christmas treat for you, a two-song single for you to download COMPLETELY FREE, featuring two songs we were asked to write on our Dutch adventures.

FULL MOON: We were asked to write a song for Dutch radio station 3FM. The catch was, we only had an hour in their studios to write the song before playing it live on air, and the song title was phoned in by a listener. This is the song we wrote.

THE FIRE RANGER: We were asked to write a piece of music for the Groninger Museum in Groningen, Holland, to accompany an audio tour. The painting we chose as inspiration was The Fire Ranger by Canadian artist Frank Johnston. This is the music we wrote.

Hello

Things have been a bit quiet, but we've been working very hard on writing our debut album. We've just about finished demoing all our songs and should have it recorded by the end of the year.

In the meantime, we'll be playing a couple of shows in the next month or so. On the 16th of September we'll support FOUND at Paisley Arts Centre. And on the 8th of October we'll be joining Martin John Henry for the launch of his new album at Stereo in Glasgow. Mon along.

Live videos, Utrecht, March 2011.

Our good friends at http://onderinvloed.com filmed us performing at their night in Utrecht during our last Dutch tour.  Here are some of the highlights:

War Of Lovers:

Book Of Youth:

Notes:

All three songs are likely to feature on our debut album, which is progressing nicely.

In the meantime, you can still avail yourself of our companion-piece debut EPs, on sale here:

Thank you.
